For Students

For University of Arizona Students

Some of the University of Arizona's most successful outreach programs use our undergraduate students as instructors and mentors, and many offer course credit! Getting involved in science outreach offers real opportunities to develop presentation skills that can be applied to science teaching and several other career areas. In addition, science outreach provides real community service.  Students can participate in outreach through the College of Science in a number of ways; click on the links to the right to explore some of the available options!

Research Courses

The College of Science offers many courses with research components, and we have a robust and growing network of undergrad research opportunities!  For more information about getting involved in Undergraduate Research, please visit the Office of Undergraduate Research's Website.

Student Clubs

Students who participate in a science-based club with a faculty sponsor may elect to register for credit. Students should meet with the advisor of the club to discuss the specific criteria that will be required of them in their service.

Astronomy Club

Our goal is to inspire and assist anybody interested in astronomy and the many sciences that go along with it. All majors are welcome to join!
