Flandrau brings together the University and regional communities to inspire the teaching and learning of science and technology. The science center and planetarium is available by reservation on weekdays for groups of 20 or more. Built to promote public appreciation and understanding of science, it’s your chance to bring your class for a complete, interactive science experience!

Science Field: Astronomy, Earth Sciences, General Science, Oceanography, Physics

What You Get: An age-appropriate, interactive FullDome planetarium show for your pre-kindergarten through high school group, presented by a knowledgeable “Console Captain”. Shows are aligned with state standards. Explore hands-on interactive exhibits, learn about ground-breaking UA Science research, and see the dazzling specimens of the UA Mineral Museum. Cost: $5 per child; Teachers free. 1 adult chaperone is required (free of charge) for every 10 students; additional adults $5. Title I discounts available.
